All styles of massage can be combined in a session to accommodate what a client needs to make their massage the most beneficial to them in that day.
Event massage: This can consist of 5, 10 or 15 minute clothed table massage for work places, party’s, or other events. This is a great way for employers to show their appreciation for employees which promotes health and wellness. Pricing for this differ from in office massages. Please see the Rate’s and Policies page for more details.
Relaxation massage: Solely focused on helping the client achieve a relaxed state, usually through lighter touch. Consists of long fluid strokes to work the superficial layers of the body.
Deep tissue: Works the deep layers of the body by using more pressure than a relaxation massage to help relieve soreness and chronic pain in deeper muscles and fascia.
Lymphatic Drainage: This style of work is very different from all other massage as it is very light touch and is solely focused on helping the body to move lymph through its channels to reduce swelling and metabolic waste. It’s mainly used for people who have lymphedema or chronic swelling, and depending on the condition, a Dr.’s note may be required. However, it can be beneficial for anyone looking for a light pressure relaxing massage that differs from the normal style of relaxation.
Myofascial Release: Works with stretching and releasing of the fascial layers of the body, which cover all musculoskeletal tissue. This is slow paced work with minimum oil.
TMJD Release: The temporomandibular joint is the joint commonly referred to as the jaw. Over 10 million people in the US suffer from jaw pain with the majority being woman. By working the muscles in and around the jaw we can reduce pain, and frequency of headaches, caused by the dysfunction in the joint.
